We are underway. The key thing to remember is to not get too euphoric if your team is off to the great start that you had anticipated. Nor should you panic. It is still too early to trot out the old saying, "what was I thinking when I drafted that guy?" That guy may be the key to a successful season (perhaps because you traded him or released him). Couldn't help noticing that Gerald Laird had quite a season yesterday: 4 for 5, 2 HR's, 6 RBI and 3 runs scored. Unfortunately, he was on the Pholders farm team, so it went for naught. The Illini had quite a memorable game on Sunday Night Baseball as their Chisox players combined to go 9 for 20, 12 RBI, 9 runs, plus one HR. The Redmen pitchers are on pace for 260 saves. The Guerillas are enjoying the view from the top, but we have only just begun. Stay tuned.........................
